In December 2007 Federal Legislation was passed nationwide to restrict the sale of certain incandescent reflector light bulbs. The objective of this ruling is to reduce the use of less efficient lighting and encourage the use of Halogen bulbs and CFL’s which provide more light with less electricity. So what does this mean??? It means that after June 16 2008 you will only be able to purchase regular reflector style bulbs type R20, R30 & R40 that were manufactured prior to that date and only Halogen and CLF’s from that point on. We have already started the conversion process to Halogen bulbs and will continue to support the CFL bulbs. Any in-stock bulbs that do not meet the new regulation will be discontinued and sold off until the inventory is depleted.
